At 20:12 local time(GMT+8), July 2, 2004, UNI Airways MD-90 aircraft registered B-17916, flight 826 that EVA Airways wet leased, departed Macau International Airport for Kaohsiung International Airport, a passenger¡¦s aircraft with 2 flight crew, 5 cabin crew and 66 passengers aboard. At 21:22 LT, the aircraft had an excursion from the taxiway A when its landing roll on runway 27 and turn into taxiway A. All passengers and crewmembers aboard sustained no injury and aircraft no damage. According to Article 2 of Aviation Occurrence Investigation Act, ¡§An occurrence that fatal or serious injuries or substantial damage nearly occurred.¡¨ the Aviation Safety Council (ASC) is conducting the investigation.
