Subject: Ultralight Vehicle 0320AEROS powered Trike occurrence investigation.

Descript: On March 20, 2010, an Aeros Trike equipped with Hirthmotoren 3503V18D engine at 0800AM (local time) took off from Dacha river side, Shen Gang Township, Taichung County, Taiwan with only one operator on board. At about 0840AM the Trike crash landed at beach about 1.5 kilometers from seashore which was next to Dacha river.  The ultralight vehicle was suffered substantial damage. The operator was serious injured and required hospitalization.¡@
